Success for two of Nexia International's member firms at the IAB Awards 2018
Nexia TA, from Georgia, won ‘Accounting Capacity Building Champion of the Year’ and Sujata Jaffer
, from Nexia SJ Tanzania, won ‘Personality of the Year’ at the International Accounting Bulletin (IAB) Awards 2018.
The IAB Awards ceremony was held on 4 October in London, celebrating worldwide best practice in the accounting profession.
Nexia TA was recognised for demonstrating a strong commitment to developing the accounting profession in Georgia, helping to create a more robust framework for doing business. Nexia TA employs 70 people across 2 offices in the country providing financial services to companies across a broad spectrum of sectors.
Sujata Jaffer, Managing Partner of Nexia SJ Tanzania, was recognised by the IAB for her significant contribution to the profession in the past year. Nexia SJ Tanzania is a leading accountancy and business advisory firm based in Dar es Salaam. Formed in 2003 the firm now has more that 40 professional members of staff, specialising in advising growing and entrepreneurial owner-managed businesses, listed companies, public institutions, local authorities and not-for-profit organisations.
