Throughout my career in auditing, I have experienced a series of situations in which I have happily observed that regardless of gender, race, religion, orientation, or any other preferences, professionalism, functionality, and performance of each person always prevail. On a daily basis, we are always presented with a series of challenges where it is of great importance to understand and promote the integration and inclusion of all participants, value and empower each team member, and provide mutual support.
It is essential to create an equitable, diverse, and respectful work environment, understanding the different needs and concerns of each person equally. I believe in the need to establish inclusive practices by providing every professional with the same opportunities in professional development, fair hiring policies, and salary equity. Promoting mutual respect within the teams. It is of great relevance to promote training programs for everyone with respective feedback from the entity. Taking concrete measures that promote inclusion, where workers as a whole feel valued, respected, and integrated.
The business benefits are manifold, as diversity in a company helps to better understand the needs and preferences of both its employees and customers, thus having a greater ability to meet market needs and build solid relationships. Companies achieve a wider range of talents and retain qualified and committed professionals over time. Enhancing creativity and innovation with professionals from diverse perspectives, experiences, and even new ideas and solutions for the benefit of the entity. Companies that maintain an inclusive culture consolidate workers who feel valued and respected for who they truly are.
