Fazel Sulaman

Fazel is a qualified Chartered Accountant (SA). He achieved this in 2008 and qualified as one of the youngest CA’s in South Africa at the age of 23 after serving articles at Nexia SAB&T. He is also a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and currently also holds a Certificate in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA).

He is currently a Director at Nexia SAB&T and among the main responsibilities in the performance of his duties is managing audits, reviewing work performed, as well as training of fellow staff members through formal mentorship programmes.

Fazel currently serves as the Lead Engagement Director on a number of assignments ranging from Public Sector to large Private Sector companies. Over the years, he has gained a wealth of experience and is able to apply his mind holistically in any situation. Fazel aims to add value to all his clients and is a highly energetic individual.

Fazel’s expertise and specialisms include International Financial Reporting Standards, International Standards on Auditing, JSE listed companies and project management.
